About the Course

This course introduces risk management and compliance strategy. You will examine risk assessment and learn how to have a risk management mindset. You will learn different types of compliance, including legal and safety compliance, and its role in operational policies. You will also explore the role Human Resources has in organizational restructuring. Good course for reviewing prior to taking exam. Instructors are good and present to listien to while taking in the information.

Missing significant amounts of information covered in HRCI aPHR exam. Only realized this after I flipped through the McGrawHill aPHR 2nd edition exam textbook for practice exams and couldn't answer around 60% of the questions. This course also provides no information on what the exam questions will be like, but the McGraw Hill textbook does. I would suggest you save your money and download that textbook instead, using the practice quizzes which are more similar to the actual exam. They go way more in depth on each of the HR topics, and cover numerous laws that aren't covered in this course. On the practice exams, the answers are also provided with explanations which is extremely helpful.
