Carolyn Kohlmeier is a Teaching Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder’s College of Engineering & Applied Science. She has taught thousands of students across a wide range of courses, from introductory classes such as Intro to Computing for Engineers and General Chemistry to more advanced subjects like Applied Data Analysis, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Data Projects. Her teaching experience spans small classes to large lectures of nearly 400 students. Carolyn is particularly interested in integrating computational tools into undergraduate education and developing inclusive, data-driven learning environments. She has received multiple departmental teaching awards, recognized by both students and faculty for her excellence in teaching.
