A great course to go for. It will literally strength the basic ideas and concepts of six sigma, which i feel is really important for understanding of the DMAIC methodology.Thank you Coursera

In geneneral the course consists of recommended readings in the "The Certified Six Sigma Green Belt Handbook " book and short presentation videos. Then, a quiz. I feel that the course and/or videos could bring more references, examples, illustrations, debates, propose different methodes of evaluations, promote more interactions among attendants, professors, etc. Todays` resources are many and mostly videos consists of presentations with bullet points, quick tables and simple drawings over narrations. In addition, mostly examples when mentioned covers manufactoring industry, I missed examples for services. Basically, if you can access and read the recommended book "The Certified Six Sigma Green Belt Handbook " and understand it by yourself, this course will not add much more into it.

The foundational information is solid- this is a a good introduction to all the concepts.
The quizzes sometimes felt like they were grasping for *something* to quiz me on, especially in the shorter sections.
The math was often presented in an almost-misleading way that seemed irresponsible: e.g. saying that "a sigma looks like an E" instead of saying "a capital sigma looks like Σ".

This course is full of notions. Sometimes, a little more organization and logical relationships between these information would be needed. This is not a major problem, because it is possible to find these relationships with your own schematization and some individual work, but it can simply be a little confusing from time to time.
